Kurzbiografie: Frank Raendchen geb. in Stralsund; Abitur, abgeschlossene Zahntechniker- und anschließende Steinmetz/Steinbildhauerausbildung; studierte Bildhauerei an der Muthesius-Hochschule-Kiel (Diplom bei Jan Koblasa 1996). Auslandsstipendium und Studium (mixed media) an der San José State University, Ca. USA (bei Stan Welsh und James Turrell, 1993). Gründungsmitglied von OHa Kunst e.V. - Produzentengalerie im Wasserturm Eutin (1996). Arbeitsstipendien des Kulturfonds Berlin im Künstlerhaus Lukas, des SHKH für Ekely/Oslo (1999) und der Nelimarkka Akademie für Vaasa/Finnland (2000). Kunstpreis der Stadt Munster (2000). Kunstpreis der dänischen Kommune Storstroemsamt (2001). Arbeitsstipendium des KuMi S/H für das Schleswig-Holstein Haus in Rostock (2002). Director`s Prize von Sculpture by the Sea, Sydney, Australien (2003). Arbeitsstipendium der Tiroler Künstlerschaft für das Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen in Innsbruck (2004).
